Thursday, July 6th:

Today I finished gluing up all the bracing of the top and the back. Tomorrow, I'll carve the top braces.

The back center reinforcement strip:

 

 

After I had cut the notches fitting the x-braces together, I glued on the x-braces:

 

 

 

 

The picture below has nothing to do with bracing (obviously) — Emily just wanted to say "Hi"!!! (She got tired of being left out of my web pages.)
