Next up ---- making the nut and saddle, installing the strings, and setting the action!!!! I'm not sure if I'll be able to get to it tomorrow. But next weekend, probably, will be the big finish..... I can't wait to see what this thing is going to sound like!!!!
Stay Tuned . . . . . .Saturday, October 13th, 2007: OKAY.....IT'S ALL DONE!!!! I finally found some time today to work on the final set-up! I made and slotted the nut, installed the saddle, and installed the strings. The set-up went pretty easily --- I had no buzzes and only had some nut-slot filing to do. It sounds really, really good --- a nice and warm and full sound. It also is really pleasant to play on soft nylon strings, after having played my steel string for the past year!
