Thursday, July 3, 2003 Today I used my bending iron to bend the sides. I originally had intended to make a bending form, but then changed my mind because I was anxious to get on with this uke! (There's always time to make a form later, should I want to make more ukes!) Besides, it's been a while since I've bent sides by hand --- and it is a rather satisfying process, when you do it right! After I bend the side, I clamp it in my mold to further "set" the bends.
