July 17... Here I am gluing the back onto the rest of the body. I used my "staple trick" once again to position the back for gluing. That, and lots of clamps! |
July 18th...Look below ---- I finally have an entire mandolin body!!!! I have trimmed the overhang of the top and back, using my mini-drawknife, small carving chisels, and diamond needle files.
